Authorizing the City Manager to submit a grant application to the Health Resources & Services Administration, Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program (RWHAP) Part C Early Intervention Services Program: Existing Geographic Service Area Grant in the amount of $310,799.00 per year for a total of up to $932,397.00 with no match for the City of Laredo Public Health Department for the term period from May 01, 2025 through April 30, 2028, and further authorizing the City Manager to execute all documents resulting from the award of this grant. Any funding as a result of this application will be appropriated to the Ryan White (RWHAP) Grant - Public Health Department Fund.

BACKGROUND
The City of Laredo Public Health Department wishes to apply for the funding opportunity by the Health Resources and Services Administration to be considered for funding through the Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program (RWHAP) Part C Early Intervention Services Program: Existing Geographic Service Area Grant. Through this award, the City of Laredo Public Health Department is able to plan, develop and deliver comprehensive outpatient health, treatment and support services to meet the identified needs of individuals and families with AIDS or HIV disease in the Health Service Delivery Area of Jim Hogg, Starr, Zapata, and Webb Counties.
