Consideration to approve the purchase contracts of heavy equipment and trucks from:
Rush Truck Center, Laredo, TX for the purchase of one (1) Peterbilt 520 Front Loader $380,414.48 through BuyBoard Cooperative contract 723-23.
Silsbee Ford, Silsbee, TX, for the purchase of one (1) 2024 Ford F-450 Reg. Cab Oil Truck in the total amount of $90,265.00 and three (3) Ford F-450 Reg. Cab Stake Trucks in the total amount of $212,465.25 through TIPS Cooperative Contract 210907.
Funding is available in the Solid Waste 2023 Certificate Obligation Capital Outlay-Automotive.

BACKGROUND
The one (1) Peterbilt 520 front loader truck shall be used to pick up recycle at schools, & some businesses.
The one (1) 2024 Ford F-450 Reg. Cab oil truck shall be used to pick up used oil from the oil drop off sites that are located in different areas of the City of Laredo.
The three (3) Ford F-450 Reg. Cab Stake bed trucks shall be used to deliver garbage or recycle cans to the new residents, businesses or events.
