Authorizing the City Manager to approve the purchase of six vehicles from Silsbee Fleet Group; three 2025 Chevrolet Equinox; two 2023 Ford F-150 Extended Cabs, and one 2024 Ford F-550 Bucket Truck for the total amount of $335,398.09. This purchase will be made utilizing TIPS USA 210907 Automobiles contract. Funding is available in the 2009, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2019 Certificate of Obligation Bonds.

BACKGROUND
These vehicles are for the use of I.S.T. staff to service all city facilities (satellite locations) to improve service response time and provide efficient customer service. The 2023 Ford F-150’s will replace 2011 unit 02515 and 2008 unit 02440; out of the three 2024 Chevrolet Equinox, one is a new vehicle to be used to service the Bridge Department and two will replace 2008 unit 13461 and 2011 unit 02516. The units that need replacement are no longer reliable. The Bucket truck, due to the increased number of new placements, will be used for video surveillance camera installations and repairs as well as other exterior IT devices.
The cost of the vehicles is as follows:

2023 Ford F-150 V8 Ext Cab $ 47,034.42
2023 Ford F-150 V6 Ext Cab $ 43,171.42
2024 Ford F-550 Reg Cab Bucket Truck $155,953.50
