BACKGROUND
Texas Local Government Code Section 43.0673 requires a public hearing before City Council. The petition for annexation was presented before the Planning and Zoning Commission on December 7, 2023 for a recommendation. After the public hearing, the petition shall proceed to City Council for introduction of the ordinance on March 18, 2024.

Tract 9 is as follows:

Voluntary Annexation:
Tract 9 - 303.02 acres, more or less, located north of State Highway 255 and east of FM 1472.
