A Resolution of the City Council of the City of Laredo, Texas, authorizing the City Manager to accept and enter into a continuation contract from the Department of Health and Human Services for the Autism and Other Developmental Disabilities, Surveillance, Research, and Prevention (ADDM) Grant in the additional amount of $150,000.000, with no match for the City of Laredo Public Health Department for a total award of $600,000.00, for the term period from January 01, 2026 through December 31, 2026. Funds will be accounted for in the Laredo Public Health Department fund - Autism and Other Developmental Disabilities, Surveillance, Research, and Prevention Grant.

BACKGROUND
The City of Laredo Public Health Department will be conducting surveillance activities, technical consultation, and sharing data collection on individuals with autism spectrum disorder and other developmental disabilities. The Autism and Developmental Disabilities Monitoring Network is a program funded by Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to collect data to better understand the number of characteristics of individuals with developmental disabilities living in the United States.
