Title: Consideration to award contract FY25-067 to VitalMed Urgent Care, Laredo, TX to provide afterhours physician/medical services to City employees, employee's dependents and City of Laredo Retirees enrolled in the City Employee Health Plan Basic Medical Services in the estimated amount of $80,000.00 per year for a total contract value of $400,000.00. The term of this contract shall be for a period of two (2) years beginning the start of the next upcoming fiscal year (October 1, 2025). This contract may be extended for three (3) additional one (1) year period each upon mutual agreement of the parties. Funding is available in the Human Resources, Employee Wellness Division fund.

BACKGROUND
The City of Laredo solicited formal Request for Proposals for providing afterhours physician/medical services to City employees, employee's dependents and City of Laredo Retirees enrolled in the City Employee Health Plan Basic Medical Services through Cit-E-Bid, the city's electronic procurement system. The City received 4 submittals from the following vendors: Adelphi Staffing, David H. Cruz, MD, Nuestra Salud Health Clinic, and VitalMed Urgent Care.

Proposals were initially evaluated by the City of Laredo Committee Team. The evaluation scoring was based on the following criteria: Approach, Work Plan, Number of clinic/ Hour services provided, Price, Experiences (previous City/other government agency), Qualifications and References.
