Presentation by the Laredo Commission for Women regarding the selected nominees for the 2024 Hall of Fame was approved at the January 22, 2024, City Council meeting.
BACKGROUND
The Laredo Commission for Women was established on April 18, 1994, by the Laredo City Council. The purpose of the Commission is to promote equality in legal, social, political, economic and educational opportunities and advancement for all women throughout the city of Laredo.
