Consideration to approve the purchase of ten (10) 2026 Chevrolet Colorado Crew Cab Trucks from Lake Country Chevrolet, Jasper, Texas, in the amount of $322,760.00 through The Interlocal Purchasing System (TIPS), Contract No. 240901. The proposed purchase will replace ten existing units ranging from model years 1999 through 2014, all of which have exceeded their useful service life and are due for replacement. BACKGROUND
The Planning & Zoning Department is requesting authorization to purchase ten (10) vehicles to support operational needs and replace ten existing units that have reached the end of their useful life. The new vehicles will be assigned to the Building Inspectors, Zoning Enforcement Officers, and Right-of-Way Inspectors within the Building Development Services Division.
