Agenda item 26-1259 Authorizing the City Manager to donate a 2006 American LaFrance from the Laredo Fire Department to the Municipality of San Miguel de Allende, Guanajuato, Mexico. The vehicle will be donated "as is," and the City of Laredo shall assume no liability for its use following transfer. The 2006 American LaFrance, formerly designated as Unit #199, has been fully depreciated and holds minimal or no monetary value.

BACKGROUND
The City of Laredo Fire Department identified one surplus vehicle, a 2006 American LaFrance, VIN# 1afaaacg36rw93331 (Unit #199), for donation to the Municipality of San Miguel de Allende, Guanajuato, Mexico. The vehicle has been fully depreciated, has minimal to no remaining monetary value, and is no longer part of the City's active fleet.

The donation of this 2006 American LaFrance will provide valuable support to emergency response operations in the Municipality of San Miguel de Allende, Guanajuato, Mexico. This action reflects the City of Laredo's commitment to international cooperation and supports the partnership established with the Municipality of San Miguel de Allende.

The vehicle will be donated on an "as-is" basis, and the City of Laredo shall bear no responsibility or liability for its operation, maintenance, or use following transfer of ownership.
