Consideration to renew service contract number FY24-066 with Lopez Transmission, Laredo, Texas, in an annual amount of $150,000.00 and $150,000.00 for the remainder of the contract term. This contract establishes a discount percentage on parts and an hourly labor rate for automatic transmission repair services for the Fleet Department. The term of this contract shall be for a period of one (1) year beginning as of the date of its execution. There was no price increase during the last extension period. This contract may be extended for one (1) additional one (1) year period, each upon mutual agreement of the parties and contingent on future funding appropriations. Funding is available in the Fleet Management Fund.

BACKGROUND
This contract establishes a discount percentage on parts and an hourly labor rate for automatic transmission repairs for the Fleet Department. The vendor shall provide all the labor and parts needed to complete the repairs. The term of this contract shall be for a period of one (1) year beginning as of the date of its execution. There was no price increase during the last extension period. This contract may be extended for one, additional one (1) year period. This contract shall be the responsibility of and administered by the vendor and the City of Laredo Fleet Department.
