PREVIOUS COUNCIL ACTION
Pursuant to Ordinance 2020-O-130, there are two (2) annexation cycles per year.

BACKGROUND
Texas Local Government Code Section 43.0673 requires a public hearing before City Council. The public hearing was held on April 22, 2025. The petition for annexation was presented before the Planning and Zoning Commission on March 20, 2025 for a recommendation. The petition for annexation will subsequently go before City Council for final reading of the ordinance on June 2, 2025.

Tract 1 is as follows:

Voluntary Annexation:
Tract 1 - 6.00 acres, more or less, located northeast of FM 1472 and Pinto Valle Drive, and north of Lampazos Loop.

COMMITTEE RECOMMENDATION
The Planning and Zoning Commission reviewed the proposed annexation and zoning designation on March 20, 2025, and in a 5 to 0 vote, recommended approval of the annexation and initial zoning.

Proposed Use: M-1 (Light Manufacturing District)

This site is platted as Lot 2, 3, and 4, Block 3, Pinto Valle Industrial Park, Phase 1 and is currently an existing trailer yard.
