Authorizing the City Manager to execute a lease agreement between the Laredo Transit Management, Inc., (Lessor) and Turimex International Bus Service (Lessee) for the lease of common property for buses and services and office space in the Transit Center Lobby, for a monthly sum of $2,567.70 for a term of one three year period with the option of two one year extensions. Lessor covenants and agrees to allow the Lessee to occupy the premises beginning on June 1, 2024.

BACKGROUND
Turimex International Bus Service with about eighty-six (86) locations around the US, provides destinations national within the United States as well as International destinations to Mexico. With their on board services, they provide Wi-Fi, restrooms for passengers, hand and free luggage, and air conditioning. In addition, El Metro anticipates an increase in ridership as well as interaction with passengers to advise of such services offered.
Turimex International Bus Service is seeking to occupy office space located on the first (1st) floor East wing and common property for bus services, for the term of three (3) years commencing on June 1, 2024, for a monthly rate of $2567.70. Services will include providing lanes for passengers to board, office space for customer service information, utilities and cleaning services provided by El Metro, and parking spaces for employees with a monthly fee charge.
