PREVIOUS COUNCIL ACTION

On February 18, 2020, City Council approved a resolution supporting the designation of an extension of Interstate 27 as a future interstate in Texas.

 

BACKGROUND

The City of Laredo supports the designation and route numbering of the Future Interstate by Congress and urges the Departments of Transportation to support such designation and numbering for Heartland Expressway, Theodore Roosevelt Expressway, and a portion of Ports-to-Plains High Priority Corridors.
