BACKGROUND
The Texas Department of State Health Services contracts with the City of Laredo Public Health Department to provide health services to residents of Laredo. Through this partnership, the Public Health Department will provide evidence-based education and training for providers, patients, and the community to ensure consistent messaging of reliable health information and collaboration and encourage healthy lifestyles for individuals, families, and communities through health promotion, outreach, and marketing.
