A Resolution of the City Council of the City of Laredo, Texas, authorizing the City Manager to submit an application to the Cancer Prevention & Research Institute of Texas (CPRIT) for the Cancer Screening and Early Detection Grant, in the estimated total amount of $1,500,000.00, with no match for the City of Laredo Public Health Department for the term period from September 01, 2025 through August 31, 2026, with up to two (2) one year extensions, for a total estimated amount of $4,500,000.00; and further authorizing the City Manager to execute all documents resulting from the award of this grant. Any funding as a result of this application will be appropriated in the Laredo Public Health Department Fund - Cancer Screening and Early Detection Grant.
