PREVIOUS COUNCIL ACTION
On June 10, 2024 City Council awarded a professional service contract to Brown Reynolds Watford Architects, College Station, Texas, in the amount not to exceed $454,800.00 to provide schematic design, design development, construction documents, bid phase, and construction administration for the RFQ FY24-ENG-12 Buena Vista Fire Station No. 16.

On April 15, 2024 City Council approved the selection of the top ranked consultant for RFQ FY24-ENG-12 Buena Vista Fire Station No. 16 & Future Fire Station No. 17, and authorized the City Manager to negotiate a professional services contract. A total of seven firms responded to the request for qualifications on or before January 18, 2024. The top three consultants below prepared presentations
before the evaluation committee on February 22, 2024.

2. DeMunbrun Scarnato Associates, Inc., San Antonio, Texas

3. Sepulveda Associates Architects, Inc., Laredo, Texas


The evaluation committee recommends the selection of Brown Reynolds Watford Architects, Inc., College Station, Texas in association with Gessner Engineering, Bryan, Texas, KCI Technologies, Inc., Laredo, Texas and DBR Engineering Consultants, Inc., Laredo, Texas. There is no financial impact at this time.
