Consideration to renew contract FY22-035 Arguindegui Oil Co. II Ltd. for the first of two-year extension in the estimated yearly amount of $1,365,399.04. The terms of the original contract are three (3) years with renewable for an additional two (2) one (1) year options upon mutual consent of both parties. This contract is for the purchase of gasoline and diesel fuels for El Metro Operations. Funding is available in the El Metro Operations Fund.

Original Contract FY22-035 Arguindegui Oil Co. II Ltd. was approved by the Laredo Mass Transit Board on 02/22/2022.
BACKGROUND
This is the first of the two-year contract extension. The low bidder Arguindegui Oil Co. II, Ltd. Held the previous contract FY17-021 and has proven excellent service tract record. The City’s Obligation beyond the current fiscal year is contingent upon the availability of appropriated funds from which payments for the contract purchases can be made.
