BACKGROUND

The South Laredo Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) has a chemical scrubber, Pure Air’s EGS-chemical scrubber that neutralizes any type of chlorine gas leak. The media typically has a life span of 10 to 15 years and recent analysis of the media indicates thirty percent (30%) of the remaining life span. The media thus needs to be replaced to maintain a safe working environment.
