Authorizing the City Manager to purchase two StarCraft Allstar paratransit vans from Creative Bus Sales, Irving, TX, in the amount of $288,412.00, utilizing the State of Oklahoma Contract #SW0797C pricing. This purchase will be funded by the FTA Section 5310 Capital Grant #TX-2024-100-00. The FTA share is $245,150.20 (85%), and the Local Match share is $43,261.80 (15%). Funding is available through the Transit Capital Grants Fund.

PREVIOUS COUNCIL ACTION
On 10/28/2024, the Laredo Mass Transit Board approved to accept and execute the Federal Transit Administration Section 5310 TX-2024-100-00 for the purchase of two paratransit vans.
BACKGROUND
These two paratransit vans will be funded with this Section 5310 grant. These vans will be replacing two, 2009 vans, which have exceeded its lifetime expectancy meeting all FTA guidelines for replacement. The Useful Life of these vans is12 years or 100,000 miles, whichever comes first. FTA share of 85% and Local Match of 15%.
