PREVIOUS COUNCIL ACTION
On July 21, 2025, City Council approved the Public Hearing and Introductory Ordinance to establish the Buena Vista Sports Complex as an independent city park facility within the Parks and Recreation system.
On May 19, 2025, City Council approved the Buena Vista Sports Complex to be under the direction of the Parks and Recreation Department and for staff to proceed with preparations of the opening of the sports complex.
BACKGROUND
The proposed fees will help offset the regular maintenance, upkeep, and overall operational expenses of the sports complex. The fees will also sustain the complex financially by reinvesting into facility improvements.
