Authorizing the City Manager to amend the City of Laredo FY2024-25 Max A. Mandel Municipal Golf Course budget by appropriating revenues and expenditures in the amount of $1,156,663.20 which includes base payment of $1,019,807.75 plus interest of $136,855.45. Funding is available in the Max Mandel Golf Course Fund. The funds will be used for the lease purchase contract of the mowing equipment necessary to maintain the golf course.

BACKGROUND
There is an equipment deficiency to suitably maintain the course and the current equipment is over ten years old with a life expectancy of 5-7 years. In addition, the maintenance cost for all current equipment is $15,000 monthly on average, all which prompted the need to replace the old equipment and purchase what was fully necessary to maintain the golf course. The mowing equipment will be under Sourcewell Grounds Maintenance Contract # 031121-DAC (PG BT CG 76) in the amount of $953,602.80 which includes the 5.07% interest rate for 60 months and the John Deere Attachments will be under Buyboard Contract #706-23 in the amount of $203,060.40 which includes the 5.77% interest rate for 60 months.
