2024 - Discussion with possible action to direct City Management to start the search for property land and / or building for possible City of Laredo convention center; and any other matters incident thereto.
BACKGROUND
The Convention & Visitors Bureau (CVB), in collaboration with the Community Development Department and the Economic Development Department, has actively explored potential sites for the development of a new City of Laredo Convention Center. This initiative aligns with the city's strategic goals to enhance tourism infrastructure and stimulate economic growth.
