BACKGROUND

The Department of Health and Human Services continues to contract with the City of Laredo Public Health Department to provide intensive behavioral health services in the Webb County region. Through the Laredo Assisted Outreach Treatment Program, the City of Laredo Public Health Department is able to improve access and adherence to intensive behavioral health services and focus on providing intensive case management, outreach services, HIV/STD testing, education, risk reduction, as well as primary care for individuals with serious mental health conditions.
