A Resolution of the City Council of the City of Laredo, Texas, authorizing the City Manager to ratify the acceptance of a grant in the amount of $250,000.00 from the Office of the Governor (OOG), Public Safety Office, for the FY 2026 Border Zone Fire Department (BZFD) grant, with no city match requirement. The grant performance period is from September 1, 2025, through October 31, 2026. The grant funding will be used to purchase fire/EMS rescue equipment for the Laredo Fire Department. Funding will be available in the Special Fire Grants Fund.
