BACKGROUND
Currently, the lift stations to be upgraded operate with float-level controllers, which consist of floats inside the wet well that activate a mercury switch. With the increased use of wipes, these floats often become tangled, preventing them from functioning properly. This leads to high- or low-level alarms that require operators to respond 24 hours a day.
With the new controllers, we will use radar sensors that send a signal to the controller to turn the pumps on and off, preventing false alarms from the lift stations. We have been using this system for a while, and these are the last 20 lift stations to be upgraded.
The price includes signed and sealed electrical diagrams incorporating the existing lift station control including the level controller.
