A Resolution of the City Council of the City of Laredo, Texas authorizing the City Manager to negotiate and execute an interlocal agreement with the Webb County - City of Laredo Regional Mobility Authority (WC - CL RMA) for cost sharing on a Transportation Reinvestment Zone (TRZ) Feasibility Study to consider the creation of a TRZ to support the development of roadway improvements from IH 69 to SH 255, bounded by the Rio Grande and the IH 35 Corridor in North Laredo in an amount not to exceed $44,013.71 of the total study cost of $88,027.42. Funding will need to be identified in the event project is selected for award, and match is requested by awarding agency.

PREVIOUS COUNCIL ACTION
On December 5, 2022, the City of Laredo Council motioned to collaborate with the WC-CL RMA complete a TRZ Feasibility Study encompassing the northwest portion of the City.
On August 1, 2023, in Resolution No. 23-09, the WC-CL RMA Board of Directors authorized the WC-CL RMA Chair to negotiate an agreement with the City to share equally in the cost to prepare the TRZ Feasibility Study.

A Transportation Reinvestment Zone feasibility study is necessary in order for the City of Laredo ýto consider the creation of a TRZ.
