On May 20, 2024, the City Council approved Ordinance 2024-O-102.

 

BACKGROUND

The Land Development Code currently provides standards and requirements regarding Flood Plan development. The amendments proposed herein provide for the orderly and healthful development of the City of Laredo. The amendments of said standards and requirements have been deemed necessary and appropriate. The Building Development Services Department met with LAN Engineering firm, hired by the City of Laredo, to audit the city’s ordinance for Flood Plain requirements for specific manufactured homes and changes were recommended accordingly.
