Authorizing the City Manager to enter into a developer agreement with NHS Laredo Holding Corporation D/B/A NeighborWorks of Laredo to allow the development of public improvements in publicly owned land containing approximately 14,753.14 sq. ft. being out of track of land containing 2.5978 acres recorded in volume 5371, page 182 situated in Blk 1713 ED, survey 799, original Laredo track, abstract 239, Webb County, Texas. Public Improvements will include street, water, and sewer to increase the quality of life for the low and moderate income community.

PREVIOUS COUNCIL ACTION
On January 22, 2024, City Council approved the passage of resolution No. 2024-R-042 to accept the land donation from NHS Laredo Holding Corporation D/B/A NeighborWorks of Laredo.
BACKGROUND
On December 4, 2023, the City of Laredo awarded NeighborWorks of Laredo a Community Development Block Grant in the amount of $240,000 to assist with the design, testing, and/or construction of public improvements to be located in the immediate area affected by the land donation approved by Council on January 22, 2024.
