Resolution 2024-R-076 to submit grant application was approved by Council on February 20, 2024.

 

BACKGROUND

The purpose of the Justice Assistance Grant Program, FY2025 funding announcement is to solicit applications for projects that promote public safety, reduce crime, and improve the criminal justice system. We will be seeking funding to supplement the current resources that LPD Mental Health/Crisis Intervention Unit has for assisting, preventing, and responding to numerous behavioral/mental crisis calls throughout the year.
