The requested funding is $2,800.00 for a department with more than 201 personnel. Funding is available in the General Fund - Fire Department.

BACKGROUND
The Texas Fire Chief Best Practices Program is a statewide, evidence-based standard consisting of 117
operational and administrative requirements. It provides an independent, third-party validation that a fire
department is professionally led, well-managed, and aligned with modern expectations for public safety
organizations.
