Haren Company from Athens, Tennessee in the amount of $5,215,200.00 for the Chlorine Dioxide Improvements for El Pico Surface and Jefferson Water Treatment Plants. Completion of this project is 290 working days. Funding is available in the America Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) and 2020A Water Revenue Fund.

BACKGROUND
Chlorine Dioxide Improvements for El Pico Surface and Jefferson Water Treatment Plant bid, were received on Thursday, September 19,2024, then opened and read aloud on Friday, September 20, 2024. The consulting engineer for the project, Ardurra evaluated the sole bid received and recommends awarding the contract to J.S. Haren Company as the responsive bidder in the amount of $5,215,200.00. Ardurra does not recommend the addition of Alternative Bid No. 1. Engineer’s recommendation letter, overall bid tabulation, and the bidders submittal are attached for consideration.
