BACKGROUND
The Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS) through the CDC Public Health Crisis Response (PHCR) Co-Ag: Public Health Workforce (PHWF) contracts with the City of Laredo to establish, expand, train, and sustain the public health workforce to support jurisdictional prevention, preparedness, response, and recovery initiatives through the City of Laredo Health Department (CLHD).
Funding will be used to sustain personnel to address projected jurisdictional public health needs to build capacity to address state, tribal, local, and territorial public health priorities.
