This purchase will be funded by the FY24 SB224 Catalytic Converter Grant. Funding is available in the Auto Theft Task Force Fund.

BACKGROUND
Authorization is requested to purchase a low-profile deck mobile lift trailer for the Auto Theft Task Force (ATTF). ATTF will utilize the lift to verify secondary VIN #’s & catalytic converters for faster stolen vehicle recovery. Mobile Lift Concepts, headquartered in Corona, CA is the sole source manufacture of the Mobile Mech Mobile Lift Trailer. Mobile Lift Concepts utilizes state of the art tool technology that allows them to consistently build the most functional, high quality and safe work platforms.
