Consideration to Authorize City Manager to Amend contract FY22-015 Hendrickson Transportation Group, LLC (HTG) Professional Legal Services through February 18, 2027, such for an amount of $100,000 for a total not to exceed $185,000 in reference to Purchase Order 437318 to Hendrickson Transportation Group. This purchase order is being utilized to provide professional legal services on behalf of El Metro Transit System. Funding is available in the El Metro Operations Fund.

PREVIOUS COUNCIL ACTION
On January 22, 2024 City Manager approved the amendment of Hendrickson Transportation Group management services contract for mutual benefit due to unforeseen economic changed circumstances, the cost of providing management services had increased.
BACKGROUND
The City of Laredo went out on formal solicitations for Request for Proposals (RFP)
FY22-015 for a new Transit Management Services Contract. RFP Solicitations were
open for over 50 days and advertised on City of Laredo's website as well as on LMT,
our local newspaper; several transit management service companies were also sent
electronic email invitations to review and submit proposals. There was one (1) sole bid
submittal received from Hendrickson Transportation Group (HTG), Waco, Texas. H.T.
Group's submittal has been reviewed and thoroughly evaluated by City Staff and it has
been deemed a complete, responsive/responsible proposal. City Staff supports and
recommends the award of this contract
