Consideration to renew contract FY24-081 with Anderson Columbia, Weslaco, Tx. for the supply of Asphalt Hot Mix Type B & D, for street paving projects for an annual amount of $8,125,000.00 and a total four-year contract value of $30,875,000.00. There was a price increase in this last extension period. The term of this contract shall be for one (1) year, this is the second of three (3) one (1) year extension periods.

BACKGROUND
The City went out on formal bid solicitations through Cit-E-Bid for awarding a contract for the supply of supply of Asphalt Hot Mix Type B & D used in street paving, street construction, and general repair projects for all City departments. Sole bidder was Anderson Columbia, Weslaco, Tx. Council approved a one year contract with three, additional one (1) year periods on 07/22/24, amendment to increase 25% was approved on 05/19/25. This is Ext. 2 of 3, effective July 23, 2026.
