The City of Laredo Mayor and City Council proudly recognize A.T. Dovalina Elementary School for earning an A rating with a perfect score of 100 in the 2026 Texas Education Agency (TEA) A–F Accountability Ratings, along with all six Distinction Designations in Reading/Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, Comparative Academic Growth, Postsecondary Readiness, and Comparative Closing the Gaps.
This outstanding achievement reflects the leadership of Principal Mrs. Jamie Vargas, her administrative team, teachers, staff, students, and families whose dedication and teamwork made this accomplishment possible.
