Resolution of the City Council of the City of Laredo, Texas authorizing the City Manager to submit an application in the amount of $1,500,000.00 to the Texas Parks & Wildlife Department (TPWD), under the 2026 Local Parks Grant Program for the planification and construction of Lomas Del Sur Park, and execute all relevant documents as determined by TPWD. The project will provide, promote and support outdoor recreation, conservation, and nature exploration. This notice of funding opportunity is on a reimbursement basis. If Grant is awarded, match in the amount not to exceed $750,000.00 is available through parkland improvement fees-District 2 and the 2021 Certificate of Obligation Bond District 1 priority funds.
