Consideration to approve contract FY24-091 with Zartico, Inc. Salt Lake City, UT., in an annual amount of $62,500.00 for a total contract value of $187,500.00. Contract services include data hosting, data inputs from a variety of sources, including lodging, analyzed and reported through a dashboard. The term of contract is for a (1) year period with (2) additional (1) one-year extension periods upon mutual agreement of the Parties. This is the first extension. Funding is available in the Convention & Visitors Fund.

BACKGROUND
The information provided through the visitor data dashboard allows the CVB to better understand the visitors’ behavior and make changes to the promotion strategy accordingly.
In 2022 the City of Laredo went out on formal RFPs through CIT-E-BID and received one submittal for awarding a contract for the Visitor Data Dashboard. CVB staff reviewed proposal thoroughly. Best value criteria were considered by the evaluation committee to review submittal. After initial review and interview/presentation, and further review of their proposal by the sole bidder agency, the committee recommended Zartico, Inc.
In 2024 the City of Laredo once more went out on formal RFPs through CIT-E-BID and received two submittals. CVB staff reviewed proposal thoroughly and together with a committee composed of 3 different departments selected Zartico, Inc. The first year of the contract was approved by Council in 2024
