BACKGROUND
The South Texas Development Council contracts with the City of Laredo Public Health Department to continue to provide public health services for the State Services Program to assist people with HIV/AIDS in the Health Services Delivery Area which include the counties of Jim Hoss, Starr, Webb, and Zapata. The Public Health Department will provide case management, medical, nursing, dental care, insurance assistance, diagnostic, monitoring, medical follow-up services, mental health, developmental and rehabilitative services, home health services, personal care services, day treatment or partial in-patient services, home intravenous and aerosolized drug therapy, routine diagnostic testing, hospice care, and other essential social support services.
