BACKGROUND

The Texas Health and Human Services Commission contracts with the City of Laredo Public Health Department for the Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Dementias (ADRD) Grant. Through this program, Laredo Public Health will be able to provide education, support, and referrals to community resources to persons with ADRD and their caregivers and promote early detection and diagnosis through priorities and strategies found in the Healthy Brain Initiative, State and Local Public Health Partnerships to Address Dementia: The 2023-2027 Road Map.
