BACKGROUND

The City received two (2) bids through Cit-E-Bid for awarding an annual supply/service contract to provide all required bonds, insurance, equipment, materials, labor, and appurtenances to complete this turnkey project.  This contract shall be the responsibility of and administered by the vendor and the City of Laredo Parks & Recreation Department. The estimated completion date is 120 working days.

**A 15% mark-up will be used based on supplier invoice and not to exceed $5,000.00 for each item used in completion of this project. A contingency allowance of $5,000.00 will be use to satisfy cost of miscellaneous parts such as elbows, swing joints, couplings, T's, teflon, red and white wire, wire nuts, primer and adhesive, etc.).

FINANCIAL IMPACT:

The purpose of this contract is to establish prices for the commodities or services needed, should the City need to purchase these commodities or services. The City's obligation for performance of an annual supply contract beyond the current fiscal year is contingent upon the availability of appropriated funds from which payments for the contract purchases can be made. If no funds are appropriated and budgeted during the next fiscal year, this contract becomes null and void.
