BACKGROUND
There is existing space at the Lyon Tank site where a small trail could be implemented to enhance recreational opportunities and align with the goals and policies of the Viva Laredo Comprehensive Plan. The addition of a trail in this area would promote active lifestyles, provide greater access to open spaces, and strengthen connections between neighborhoods and community amenities. This initiative supports Viva Laredo’s vision of creating a more connected, healthy, and livable city through the expansion of the park and trail network.
