BACKGROUND
The City of Laredo Public Health Department - Employee Wellness Department issued a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for qualified Afterhours Physical/Medical Services to address low-acuity, non-emergent medical needs through consultation, evaluation, limited treatment, and select diagnostic testing, consistent with services typically provided at the Employee Health Wellness Clinic, while maintaining appropriate utilization and cost control. The RFQ was publicly advertised and posted in accordance with the City’s procurement policies.
