PREVIOUS COUNCIL ACTION
On October 3, 2022, City Council approved the selection of consultants for RFQ FY22-ENG-36 General Civil Engineering Services for construction projects FY2023 - FY2026, and authorizing the Interim City Manager to negotiate professional service contracts for each respective project assigned on a rotation basis. Professional service contracts will be issued per project upon funding available for a two (2) year term, with one (1) option for a two (2) year renewal, for a total term of four (4) years beginning October 4, 2022, and ending September 30, 2026. Thirteen (13) firms responded to the Request for Qualifications on or before Thursday, September 1, 2022, at 4:00 P.M. The evaluation committee recommends the selection of the following consultants based on the final rankings below:

Funding will not exceed $50,000.00 per project, per vendor in the respective budget account unless authorized otherwise by City Council. There is no financial impact at this time.
BACKGROUND
The project consists of the engineering design services requiring surveying, design, and construction oversight of two Welcome Signage Monument for the City of Laredo, not to exceed 400 square feet, to be located within IH 35 right-of-way between mile marker 13 and mile marker 18, and within US-59 right-of-way just outside of Laredo, Texas.
