A Resolution of the City Council of the City of Laredo, Texas, authorizing the City Manager to accept and enter into a continuation contract from Every Body Texas d.b.a Women’s Health and Family Planning Association of Texas (WHFPT), through the Quality Access and Improvement (QIA) Part B Fund, Title X Family Planning in the additional amount of $17,000.00, with no match for the City of Laredo Public Health Department for the term period from April 01, 2024 through March 31, 2025. BACKGROUND
Every Body Texas continues to contract with The City of Laredo Public Health Department for the Title X Family Planning Program. Through the Quality Improvement Access (QIA) Fund, the City of Laredo Public Health Department is able to provide a variety of family planning methods, implement improved quality services and increase access to sexual and reproductive health services either in accordance with or beyond Title X priorities and requirements.
