BACKGROUND
This project consists of an asphalt overlay of approximately 12,750 SF parking lot; removal and replacement of 6 car stops and new striping of 29 parking spaces.
Construction contract time for the project is (30) working days.
A total of four (4) electronic bids and two (2) manual bids were received at the City
Secretary’s office on Thursday, April 10, 2025 at 4:00 P.M. which were publicly opened, read and taken advertisement on Friday, April 11, 2025 at 9:00 A.M.

Based on our evaluation of the bids, the City of Laredo Engineering Department recommends that this project be awarded to ALC Construction, LLC with that bid being determined the lowest responsible, responsive bidder of the six submitted for our consideration in the amount not to exceed $69,000.00 which includes the base bid and a $10,000.00 contingency allowance.
