BACKGROUND
The City of Laredo Public Health Department wishes to purchase an XR Fusion 400S SRS Pocket System (x-ray machine) for the TB Prevention Program. The availability of an X-ray machine at the public health department is critical for the timely and effective diagnosis, treatment, and management of tuberculosis (TB). On-site imaging allows for early identification and faster initiation of treatment, which is essential for controlling the spread of TB in the community. The AMRAD Medical SRS Pocket system gives you flexibility from a room that was designed to fit into a small space (9’x9’), and yet provides the functionality of a full conventional x-ray system. The AMRAD SRS Pocket is a multi-functional interlocking tubestand and wallstand that makes positioning easy and efficient. When the need arises, the tubestand and wallstand can be separated to further improve the functionality of such a small space. A tilting cabinet (with detents ever 15 degrees) provides even more flexibility. Brown’s Medical Imaging is a sole source vendor.
