Ordinance No. 2020-O-147, November 02,2020
BACKGROUND
On November 02, 2020, the Laredo City Council approved lease agreement between the Laredo International Airport and the Laredo Police department for a property located on 712 Maher.
The Laredo Police Department is a tenant in good standing and has proposed a lease amendment to the Airport, in which the amount of square footage would be increased. The Airport is in agreement with the lease amendment and has discussed with Laredo Police Department the need to increase the rent in order maintain the rent at fair market value as required by FAA Grant Assurances.
