Consideration to renew contract FY24-017 to MWI Animal Health Information, Boise, Indiana, in an annual amount not to exceed $350,000.00 for a total contract value of $1,750,000.00 for the purchase of pharmaceutical & medical supplies, for the Laredo Public Health - Animal Care Services. The term of this contract is for one (1) year, this is the first of three, one-year extension periods. Funding is available in the Laredo Public Health Department Fund - Animal Care Services.

BACKGROUND
The city went out on Formal Bid solicitations through Cit-E-Bid for the purchase of pharmaceutical & medical supplies, for the Laredo Animal Care Services. MWI Animal Health Information was awarded this contract. The term of this contract shall be for a period of two (2) years beginning as of the date of its execution, the contract may be extended for three (3), one (1) year extension periods.
This is the Extension 1 of 3. All items will be purchased on as needed basis.

The contract renewal ensures continuity of essential services that support public health preparedness, regulatory compliance, and humane animal care practices within the City of Laredo.
