PREVIOUS COUNCIL ACTION
On September 16, 2024, City Council rejected both bids received for FY21-ENG-16 Fire Station 10 Fleet Annex Building located at 11015 McPherson Rd. The bids received exceeded the estimated budget amount. There is no financial impact at this time.
BACKGROUND
This project consists of constructing a fleet annex repair shop, approximately 7,300 sf in size. The shop includes 4 large vehicle repair bays, 1 small vehicle repair bay, 1 storage bay, a cubicle area, a private office, an employee lounge, a restroom, and a storage mezzanine. Site work includes regrading, retaining walls, new pavement areas, and parking spaces. Alternates are listed on sheet AS-003 and include a truck parking canopy and additional heavy-duty pavement area. Construction contract time for the project is one hundred and ninety (190) working days.
A total of seven (7) bids were received at City Secretary’s office on Thursday, May 28, 2026 at 4:00 P.M. which were publicly opened, read and taken advertisement on Friday, May 29, 2026 at 11:00 A.M.
